BWA 1.0 released!

It's out now! Get a copy in the download section, and be sure to read the README/INSTALL. Comments, bug reports and feature requests are very welcome.

Welcome to bwa.sourceforge.net ! Although development currently takes place mainly on our private svn server, we decided to use the various facilities provided kindly by the sourceforge.net team in order to release and maintain BWA. Starting from Version 1.0 development will continue entirely here at sourceforge.net.
Now you should be able to visit our SF project page here, or start a discussion in one of our new forums. -

Finally we made some decisions on important design issues...
We will use the Soot Framework to get the necessary information on control flow and variables, which forces us into programming with Java since Soot is written in it and we realized that interaction with Soot will be quite strong...

Busy Wait Analyser - BWA targets the detection of Busy Wait in Java Programs. Because it is pretty hard (especially for a human being ;) to detect Busy Waiting in existent code there is the need for a static analysis tool, which tells exactly where and how Busy Waiting is employed. The project has just started, but the first release is planned this winter...
